Job Description:

A outgoing individual with experience in residential concrete with a strong emphasis on residential foundations. The ideal candidate will work as a hands-on Foreman in the construction, erection, repair and modification of concrete foundation walls. They will have the physical ability to lift heavy objects, squat, and stand for long durations and be exposed to differing weather conditions. The ideal candidate must possess strong communication and leadership skills and should have the ability to train employees under direct supervision, ensure appropriate use of equipment, communicate progress on the project, maintain the schedule, arrange for delivery and pick up of material on the site and evaluate plans. The ideal candidate will have the knowledge and understanding of construction practices and techniques. Must have the ability to interact professionally and work well with other employees, customers and suppliers. Candidate must be able to work independently while understanding the necessity for communication and coordination with the Project Manager, Superintendent and other employees. In addition to the above minimum requirements, candidates who possess the following skills, experience and capabilities may receive greater consideration during the evaluation process:

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 to 5 years’ experience as a concrete foreman. Bilingual is HIGHLY preferred but not required.
  • Must have knowledge of all aspects of concrete foundations and should be able to read construction plans, layout projects from scaled plans, operate laser level.
  • Should be capable of handling job specific paperwork, jobsite production, planning and scheduling of job specific subcontractors and material, and job site safety regulations
  • Should be able to operate basic construction equipment (Skid Steer)
  • Be able to communicate to Project Managers/General Managers and clients the progress of projects, including concerns, problems, delays, etc and be able to represent the company in job site meetings and with clients on the job site

  • Must demonstrate a confident, proactive, positive approach when interacting with executives, team members and clients
  • Clean driving record with a valid driver’s license and pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug testing
  • Class C CDL drivers License.
  • Results driven, energetic, resourceful and hands-on individual with a strong service orientation
  • • Ability to work alone and be able to evaluate the work completed to assure its quality

Hours:

40 to 50 hours per week
